FY2008 College Endowment and Financial Reports
The College would normally report end-of Fiscal Year (June 30) 2008 financials early in 2009, in the Report from Williams. Because so much has changed in the economy and financial markets in recent months, Williams has already posted FY08 endowment results and budgetary information. Future College communications will broadly share Fiscal Year 2009 financial developments as they evolve.

Williams Ethics Bowlers Win Northeast, Head to Nationals
Williams students won the Northeast Regional Ethics Bowl competition and will advance to the national tournament in Cincinnati in March. Read on.

 

Gaudino Fellows
Muhammad Asad Liaqat '11, Meghan Rose Donnelly '11, and Moira P. Yoe '10 have been elected  2009 Gaudino Fellows and will receive up to $2,500 in support of their Winter Study projects. Read on.

Remembering Prof. Pierson
"I am sad to report the loss of an historic Williams figure, with the death Wednesday of William H. Pierson Jr., Massachusetts Professor of Art, Emeritus, at the age of 97." Prof. Mutongi Recognized by African Studies Association
Professor of History and Chair of Africana Studies Kenda Mutongi was awarded Honorable Mention from the African Studies Association (ASA) for her book "Worries of the Heart: Widows, Family, and Community in Kenya" (University of Chicago Press, 2007). Read on.

Tax-wise Alumni Fund contributors who plan to make deductible gifts in 2008 can do so online with a credit card. (Your gift must be entered and authorized online by 11:45pm EST on 12/31/08.) We are also pleased to accept personal checks made out to "Williams College Alumni Fund" or "Williams College Parents Fund" and mailed to the Office of Annual Giving, 75 Park St., Williamstown, MA 01267, dated and postmarked no later than Dec. 31, 2008. Women's Soccer on Top and All-American
Senior Gabrielle Woodson and junior Lauren Sinnenberg were named First Team All-American for Div. III. The team set a Williams record for most wins in a season. Read on.

 

Football's John Szawlowski Div. III All-American
John Szawlowski is the first Eph since LB Graham Goldwasser in 2003 to be honored as an AFCA NCAA Division III First Team All-American. Read on.
