NSF Supports Student Summer Research
The National Science Foundation has awarded Williams a five-year $630,000 grant to offer students a nine-week opportunity to research mathematics in small groups with individual professors. Read on.

Expedition '09!
A band of young Ephs will hit the road this summer in a College van, calling on Williamsfolk throughout the eastern US. They'll document their trek with photos, video, and blog entries here.

Squash Puts Youths on Road to College
The National Urban Squash Education Association, a movement founded by Williams Bicentennial Medalist Greg Zaff '84, is covered in the New York Times. NUSEA hosted its annual squash tournament at Williams this past weekend.


Williams Cycling Weekend July 17-19
This trip for cycling enthusiasts will give Ephs the chance to ride together on the terrific rural roads of Berkshire County, Southern Vermont and New York State. Off the bikes we'll exercise our minds with rich intellectual and cultural opportunities while enjoying some appropriate carbo-loading. Space is limited. Register now here.

On their way to a fourth straight Div III title, swamping three Div I boats, and snagging Justin Moore his fourth coach-of-the-year award, women's crewmates found time to study abroad, serve as JAs and otherwise take full advantage of the Williams experience.
