REPLAYING AMERICA'S FIRST COLLEGE BASEBALL GAME

On May 3, in Pittsfield's Waconah park, Williams alumni celebrated the 150th anniversary of the first college baseball game by beating Amherst in old-time uniforms according to old-time rules. You can try to catch it on ESPNU (loads slowly and won't stay on the Web much longer). Williams' chess club delivered the final May 3 blow, beating Amherst 3-1 under a nearby tent.
