Squash in the Afternoon
Men's Squash handily won their ninth consecutive Little 3 championship and placed second in the NESCAC tournament behind top ranked Trinity College. Ranked ninth nationally, Williams battled the University of Rochester this morning in the play-in match for the eighth and final entry to the top bracket of the CSA National Team Championships. Both schools had split the first eight matches with four wins apiece when Will Gruner '11 took the court in the #5 match. Gruner fell behind two games to love before fighting back to draw even at 2-2. Gruner ultimately prevailed in the 5th and final game to give Williams a 5-4 aggregate win over Rochester and propel Williams into the elite bracket.
