President Emeritus Hank Payne died January 7 in Atlanta. On February 12, at 4:00 p.m. at the Faculty House, a gathering will be held for members of the College and community to share their memories of "this wonderfully decent and caring man...."

Outside Educators' Report on Williams
The New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) reviews colleges and universities every ten years for continuation of accreditation. This year it's Williams' turn. The process began with a comprehensive self study and now continues with the report of a visiting committee of leaders from other colleges. Read both documents and more here.
223 Accepted Early to the Class of 2012
Early Decision applications rose 13 percent over last year's total. The increase seems due, in part, to Williams' success in expanding the socioeconomic diversity of entering classes.
