2006 REPORT FROM WILLIAMS HIGHLIGHTS GREAT TEACHING
This year's Report from Williams (the fourth in a series that explores specific goals of The Williams Campaign) focuses on an enduring tradition of great teaching--and new initiatives that extend that tradition into the 21st century. A presidential essay, profiles of Williams professors and programs, and short takes on Williams' (excellent) financial condition can all be found here. The report started arriving in alumni and parent mailboxes two weeks ago. If you missed yours, e-mail arcomms@williams.edu.

WILLIAMS SWEATSHIRT STARS IN CSI
"Did you think you were going to teach at my alma mater in the dead of winter without warm clothes?"  Brief but unmistakable Williams references appeared recently on CSI. It takes some work to find and view, but if you go to http://www.cbs.com/, look down the Web site's left side to "Watch Full Episodes Free," and click on the litle "CSI" box, it's the episode called "Leaving Las Vegas." The big moment comes precisely six minutes into a particularly gory first segment.
